How to configure Stories in Instagram; learn native app features

Step 1. Open the Instagram app and access your profile by tapping on your photo in the lower right corner as shown in the image below. Then tap the three dots in the upper right corner to access the settings. If you're using an iPhone, tap on the gear icon.
