How to use GIFs in Instagram Stories

Instagram now lets you add GIFs to Stories photos and videos. The animations are inserted in figurine format and can be resized and moved freely on the images. According to the social network, there are thousands of GIF stickers available that can be used to make your stories even more creative. The user can view the trends or search for a themed figurine - such as bouncy letters, spinning hearts, cat dancers, pizza in space.

Step 1. Open Instagram and tap on the camera icon in the upper left corner of the screen to open the Instagram Stories camera. Take a picture or video as usual, or select an image from the gallery. Then tap on the figurine icon;

Step 2. Touch "GIF" and then select the desired animation. You can scroll the screen to see the GIFs on high or use the search to find something specific. Tap on the drawing you want to use to add it to your photo or video. Repeat the procedure to add more;

Step 3. If you want, you can use the tweezers gesture to enlarge or reduce the size of the GIF. You can also drag it freely over the image. After making the desired adjustments, touch "Send To" to share the photo or video in your story or send it to a specific friend.
