Step 1. Access Google Drive and sign in to your account. Now, click "New" and in the menu that appears, go to "File Upload". Then simply locate the Excel worksheet you want to edit;

Step 2. Wait until the file is uploaded to your Google Drive. When the upload is finished, the worksheet should appear in the file list. Double click on it to open it;

Step 3. The spreadsheet view opens. Click "Open with Google Sheets" at the top of the screen to convert the file to an editable format by Google Docs;

Step 4. The editor will open and you can make the edits you want. When finished, you can download the edited worksheet in an Excel-compatible format. To do this, go to "File", "Download As" and click "Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)".
