Dragon Ball FighterZ: how to download and install the beta of the game

Dragon Ball FighterZ received a beta this weekend where owners of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can test the new fighting game of the series of Akira Toriyama for free. In total, there are 11 playable characters and 7 complete arenas, plus replays mode, online ranking and more. Learn how to download the beta and participate in the Dragon Ball FighterZ tests.

We tested the beta of Dragon Ball FighterZ with new fighters

The beta will be available - without a confirmed end date - for all players. Users who bought the game in the pre-sale had one more day of tests, and could start playing the beta since the 13th (Saturday).

Xbox one

Step 1. From the main menu of your Xbox One, go to the "Shop" tab and go to the search menu. Enter Dragon Ball FighterZ and press Start to search through the game;

Step 2. Find the beta of the game and press A to access the download screen. If you have purchased Dragon Ball FighterZ in pre-order, you can play one day in advance by downloading the "Open Beta Early Access" option, also available in the console store;

Step 3. On the game screen, click "Acquire" to download the beta and install it automatically on your Xbox One.

Playstation 4

Step 1. From the PlayStation 4 main menu, go to the PlayStation Store on the left side of the screen;

Step 2. Press Triangle to enter the search menu and enter Dragon Ball FighterZ. Select the option Open Beta to download the standard version of the tests, or "Open Beta Early Access" if you bought the game in the pre-sale;
