Finding out if a location is full on Google Maps

The web version of Google Maps shows the movement of places in real time - that is, whether an establishment is full or not. The feature can be useful if you are planning to go to a bar or restaurant, for example. In this way, it is possible to avoid queuing and other inconveniences.

Google Maps now has detailed maps of moons and planets

Learn how to discover the real-time movement of businesses, squares, and other places through the Google map service on your computer. It is also possible to check the times in which the place usually receives many people. This information, however, is not available for all registered environments - especially in small cities or outside large urban centers.

Learn how to find places on Google Maps via PC

Step 1. Access Google Maps and click on the name of the bar, restaurant or store you want to know the real-time movement. You can also use the search bar to search the site;

Step 2. Place information will be uploaded. Scroll the screen up until you find the section "Peak times";

Scroll down the information page to the indicated section

Step 3. To the right of "In real time", in red, Google Maps will inform the current condition of the establishment. Below, in the chart, it is possible to compare the movement of that moment with the history of previous time and days;

Step 4. If you are planning to go to the place another day, click on the day of the week to change it. In this case, Google Maps will show the movement history based on previous days and you'll be able to find out the best time to go there.
