How to duplicate apps on Xiaomi's mobile phone

Xiaomi phones allow you to duplicate your favorite applications to make it easier to use different accounts in one service. That way, you can use two profiles on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram at the same time, without having to leave your main account. The feature is native to the Chinese manufacturer's smartphones.

Step 1. Open the settings of your phone. Then scroll through the page and tap the "Dual apps" section.

Step 2. You will be redirected to a page with all applications installed on your Xiaomi smartphone. Find the app you want to duplicate and tap the key next to the software name to start the cloning process.

Step 3. Depending on which application you select, a window stating that you need to duplicate Google Services will appear. Touch the "Activate" button. Once the cloning process is finished, the application will appear on your home screen accompanied by a yellow icon to differentiate it from the default app.
